Alireza Ahmadian Lectures
in Iranian and Persianate Studies

The Alireza Ahmadian Lectures in Iranian and Persianate Studies commemorate the legacy of Alireza Ahmadian (1981–2019), a respected researcher, socio-political analyst, and proud UBC alumnus. This lecture series was established through the generous support of Alireza’s friends in the community and is dedicated to fostering critical dialogue and scholarship in Iranian and Persianate studies. The series will continue through the 2025/2026 academic year.

مجموعه سخنرانی‌های علیرضا احمدیان برای گرامی‌داشت یاد و میراث علمی علیرضا احمدیان (۱۹۸۱–۲۰۱۹) – پژوهشگر، تحلیل‌گر سیاسی، و دانش‌آموخته دانشگاه بریتیش کلمبیا – تأسیس شده است. این مجموعه با حمایت سخاوتمندانه تنی چند از دوستان علیرضا احمدیان راه‌اندازی شده و هدف آن تقویت گفت‌وگوی علمی و انتقادی در زمینه مطالعات ایرانی و حوزه تمدن فارسی است. این مجموعه تا سال تحصیلی ۲۰۲۶ ادامه خواهد یافت.
