Call for Proposals

This 6th International Conference addresses teachers, lecturers and scholars of Persian language and literature. It will be held in person at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada on 22–24 April 2027.

It will explore how language education can remain meaningful and effective in the age of artificial intelligence, with a focus on innovative, human-centered, and community-based approaches. The conference’s particular focus will be on how to sustain learner motivation, participation and enrolment in Persian courses.

Participants are invited to share research, classroom-based experiences, curricular models, and assessment practices that address learners’ intellectual, cultural, and social needs.

The organisers welcome abstracts related but not limited to the following topics and themes on the right.
