Sokhan at UBC: A New Podcast Platform for Iranian and Persianate Studies

We are so excited to announce a new podcast platform for Iranian and Persianate studies at UBC!

Sokhan at UBC is a podcast series showcasing student research in Iranian and Persianate studies. Recorded in either Persian or English, Sokhan at UBC serves as a platform for students to present a variety of topics, from pre-modern Persian poetry to contemporary culture.

The inaugural seven episodes are produced by undergraduate students in PERS 451 “Shahnameh for Advanced Speakers of Persian” under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Hoffmann.
